Custom Accommodations for Students

We support the following time accommodations for individual students:

x1.25 time
x1.5 time
x2 time
x3 time

Contact Artusi support at [email protected] if any of your students should be granted a time accommodation.

The way that time accommodations work depends on how the assignment is configured. If the assignment duration is defined from the moment the student opens the assignment then this duration will be multipled by the value of the accommodation. For example, if the assignment has a 30-minute time limit:

... then students with a x1.5 time accommodation will have 45 minutes to complete the assignment.

When the duration of the assignment is instead defined with a start and end date then a time accommodation will extend the assignment end time. Here is an example:

With this setting, students with a x1.5 time accommodation will have until 5:30 pm to complete the assignment. Note that this only applies if the total duration defined by start and end (pre-accommodation) is less than 24 hours.
