Maximum Mistakes (aka "Fluency")

Modified on Tue, Jan 27 at 12:08 PM

For assignments in Artusi, you are given the option as the instructor of specifying the "Maximum Mistakes" percentage to determine fluency for the given skill set.

The number entered in this field represents a percentage, rather than an actual number of mistakes. For instance, entering a value of 0.2 (or 20%) means students can only get 20% of questions in that section wrong before they are warned about a lack of fluency.

Artusi doesn't dock points or prevent students from continuing to work past the point of maximum mistakes, but it does give them a warning notification saying they have not achieved fluency

Entering a value of "0" effectively turns off the mistakes feature.

The "maximum mistakes" field is also documented here in the Instructor Manual in case that's helpful: https://www.artusimusic.com/instructor/advanced_help/#maxMistakesAnchor
