For students
"Every time I try to open an assignment from Canvas it automatically logs into the wrong Artusi account."
Try the following steps:
- Log out of your Artusi account: https://www.artusimusic.com/logout
- Now re-launch your assignment from Canvas. You should see a page that asks you if you have an Artusi account. Select "Yes, I have an Artusi account"
- You will now be prompted to log in. Please be sure to use the login credentials for the correct account. If you have purchased access, then you should be able to see your payment after logging in by visiting https://www.artusimusic.com/purchase/.
"When I open my assignment from Canvas, I only get a fraction of the time to complete the assignment that I am supposed to."
This is likely an assignment that is timed from the moment you open it. When you click to launch the assignment from Canvas, a timer starts at that moment. For example, if it is a 20-minute exam, then you will have 20 minutes to complete the assignment from the moment you open it. You can navigate away from the assignment, but doing so will not pause the timer.
For instructors
"Grades are appearing in my Canvas gradebook after the deadline even though the student submitted the assignment on time."
The submission dates that you see in Canvas represent when Artusi sent the grade to Canvas, not when the student last submitted their work. Artusi schedules Canvas updates in batches that do not always align with due dates, and this is a normal part of the LTI spec (the technology that makes the Canvas integration possible). If you want to know when a student last submitted their work, we recommend checking the Artusi gradebook. Students can never submit Artusi work after a due date unless you explicitly allow for that with the "Deadline strictness" setting.
