Artusi connects to Canvas, Brightspace (D2L), Moodle, and Blackboard. Once connected, students open Artusi assignments from inside your LMS, and their scores appear in your LMS gradebook.
Two people, two jobs
Your LMS administrator registers Artusi with your LMS. This happens once per school. It takes about ten minutes and needs a registration link from Artusi support.
Instructors add an Artusi assignment to a course. This happens once per assignment and takes about two minutes.
Each guide below covers both jobs in order. If you are an instructor and the first section is not something you can do, send the guide to your LMS administrator.

Did you set up Artusi in Canvas before fall 2026?
Schools that connected Artusi to Canvas before fall 2026 used an earlier method, where the administrator entered a consumer key, a shared secret, and a config URL. That connection continues to work and nothing needs to change. Its guides are in the Canvas LTI 1.1 (legacy) folder.
If Artusi already appears as an external tool in your Canvas course and you are not sure how it was set up, ask your Canvas administrator.
To move to the current method, ask your Canvas administrator to email support@artusimusic.com.
Things that work the same in every LMS
Getting the registration link
Email support@artusimusic.com with your school’s name and which LMS you use. We reply with a registration link for your LMS administrator. The link is specific to your school and expires, so request it when the administrator is ready to use it.
