Common problems in any LMS

For problems specific to your LMS, see the troubleshooting section of its guide.

“This assignment is not ready yet.” The instructor has not linked this LMS item to an Artusi assignment. Instructors: open the item yourself and pick an Artusi assignment. Students: tell your instructor.

“This Artusi course is already linked to a different course in your LMS.” Each Artusi course can serve one LMS course. Create another Artusi course for this section based on your existing course.

Launching from the LMS opens the wrong Artusi account. The first launch matched your LMS identity to the wrong Artusi account. Log out of Artusi, open the assignment from the LMS again, choose Yes, I have an Artusi account, and log in to the right one. If it still opens the wrong account, email support@artusimusic.com with the email address of the account you want.

Artusi shows an error about your role. The LMS tells Artusi whether you are an instructor or a student, and Artusi will not match an instructor launch to a student account or the reverse. You are logged in to the wrong kind of account. Log out of your Artusi account and launch again.

Grades show as submitted after the due date. The submission time your LMS shows is when Artusi sent the grade, not when the student finished. Artusi sends grades once an hour. Check the Artusi gradebook for the real time. See How Artusi sends grades to your LMS.

Grades never appear. The most common causes, in order:

1. The student opened Artusi directly from the Artusi website instead of from the LMS. Grades will only reach your gradebook when students launch Artusi from the LMS.
2. The LMS item has no gradebook column. See the grades section of your LMS’s guide.
3. The assignment has feedback turned off and has not closed yet. See How Artusi sends grades to your LMS.
